Flight Certificate Text

Hear ye! Hear ye!

John Addlem

did this day albeit briefly leave behind all the
cares and passions that molest mankind by making
an ascent in the hot air balloon 'Smartchat' over
Victoria's stately city of Greater Bendigo.

In recognition of the spirited courage shown in
venturing so high into the troposphere, and having
returned safely to Mother Earth to the astonishment
of the local peasant folk, the aforementioned was duly
and solemnly blessed with champagne, offered hearty
and vociferous congratulations by fellow survivors,
and proclaimed

Count of Bendigo.

Signed by mine own hand

The bestowment of French aristocratic titles on our passengers is a fun way of continuing the early links between ballooning, champagne drinking and the French aristocracy, some of whom were among the world's first balloonists.
Our flight certifcates are lavishly illustrated and printed in full 4-colour on A4, and are ideal for placement in pride of place on either a main mantlepiece or behind the loo door.
